Eva S. Reichel, RCSWI
Eva S. Reichel (she/her) is a bilingual English-Spanish therapist who obtained her graduate degree in Clinical Social Work (MSW) from New York University.
Eva has extensive experience providing therapy in private practice & community mental health settings. She is trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) for chronic pain, Mindfulness, and Trauma-Informed Care. Eva has obtained specialized training on Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) through Postpartum Support International (PSI), a nationally recognized evidence-based training program for maternal mental health. Eva also brings experience working in clinical research settings including the Youth Anxiety Center (YAC) at the Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital and CUCARD in Manhattan. Eva has co-authored published research on evidence-based treatments for anxiety in young adults and has presented her research in renowned national conferences.
Eva is passionate about serving college-aged young adults, adults, and birthing parents who are impacted by anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, OCD, emotion dysregulation, depression, chronic pain, trauma or difficult life transitions (i.e., transition to college/work, immigration/acculturation, and the journey from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and all stages of parenthood).
Eva is an inaugural member of the Florida CBT Association and its first Student Membership Chair.
