Gwilym Roddick, DSW, LCSW
Dr. Gwilym Roddick (he/him), is the Founder and Director of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy of Central & South Florida, PLLC, a pioneering multi-specialty group therapy practice specializing in CBT and related evidence-based therapies.
Dr. Roddick has received graduate degrees from Columbia University (Masters) and Rutgers University (Doctorate). His clinical training and work experiences have included being a part Montefiore Hospital’s health system, and four years at the New York office of The Ross Center, one of the most respected evidence-based practices in the field of mental health.
An advocate for mental health standards, training and practice, Dr. Roddick Co-Founded the Florida CBT Association, and is the current President-Elect. Dr. Roddick is also a respected member of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT), the New York City Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Association (NYC-CBT), and the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). With ABCT, he has served for several years on the Public Education and Media Dissemination Committee. He is on the Board of Directors of OCD Central and South Florida and the Advisory Board of PsyTech VR.
In addition, Dr. Roddick maintains his over decade long practice in New York City and has gratefully been a therapist for the past seven years with the nonprofit Headstrong Project, providing both individual and group psychotherapy to Post 9/11 Veterans.
He and his family reside in Winter Park, Florida.
